True!!1 My husband grew up there and they had a nice colonial that his parents bought in the 60’s that was typical suburbia, no mini mansion, but worth about half a million when they sold it to downsize.

However, the quiet suburbs of Yorktown were certainly not the housing projects in the Bronx!! This young women was/is most certainly lying about the environment she grew up in and the subsequent experiences she had in an expensive suburban school system.

True, but there are areas of Yorktown near the City of Peekskill that are more Bronx-like than quiet suburbs.
