My guess is that Medical Schools are worried that they may end up being LEGALLY LIABLE FOR DAMAGES caused by unqualified graduates that, SOLELY BECAUSE OF RACE, the schools recruited and fed into the medical profession over more highly qualified candidates.
And, IMHO, they SHOULD be liable.
