Politics aside I wouldn’t go there now because of improbable but possible violence.

On their menu is a North Carolina Grouper with Herb Risotto / Stone House Farms Carrots for $25. Snort, I make a tilapia almondine with carrot soufflé and yogurt dill cucumbers for $1.75. Ok, so they need to make a profit but $9 for a simple marinated beet salad?
Had to search what their Pommes Parmentier was. Ha, seasoned roasted potatoes that they likely do quick in a skillet. IOW, toss cubed potatoes in some Hidden Valley Ranch mix and put it in the oven. Those were served with beef with a béarnaise sauce. The old joke about béarnaise sauce is it is how you salvage your curdled hollandaise sauce. $28 for that dish.
That’s it. For dinner, I’m making a boneless beef rib (<$3/lb) with a homemade sauce, chilled marinated beet salad and a medley (medley, ooh la la sounds fancy) of sautéed summer squash since we’re low carbing. Waaay, less than $37, kiss the cook in lieu of a tip and I’ll even wash my hands and not spit in the salad. All served in a quiet comfy home setting and kids (aka furbabies) welcome.
