I’ve never heard of a time in the history of USA when Jews were routinely denied entry to a restaurant or other establishment. They were welcomed here as refugees in both world wars. Yes, if you mean prejudice, that existed.
You never heard of the story of the St Louis did you when the FDR admin refused to let Jews who had tried to come in as refugees into this country. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MS_St._Louis
FDR hated Jews!
They were denied membership in Country Clubs and other assorted type elite groups... In Palm Beach (years ago) Trump made a point of inviting Jewish people into his club...
But Trump undercut his adversaries with a searing attack, claiming that local officials seemed to accept the established private clubs in town that had excluded Jews and blacks while imposing tough rules on his inclusive one.
Trumps lawyer sent every member of the town council copies of two classic movies about discrimination: A Gentlemans Agreement, about a journalist who pretends to be Jewish to expose anti-Semitism, and Guess Whos Coming to Dinner about a white couples reaction to their daughter bringing home a black fiance.
The move infuriated council members, who said it was a distraction from their concerns that Trumps club would spoil a quiet street. But, in time, Trump got most of the restrictions lifted.
