International trade is not a zero sum game. Both sides win if there are no market distortions.

Tell that to the community that loses it's factory and real estate plunges all to increase the bottom line by 2%. There are indeed winners and LOSERS in "free trade".

Artificially propped up industries are harmed by free trade no doubt. At least I have seen you admit that some industries LOSE jobs when retaliatory tariffs accompany and follow new tariff imposition.
