Pertinent to nothing on this thread——”cacophony” is one of my favorite words-—I just like it. :-)

LOL! I like the word, too, but don’t have many opportunities to use it. It certainly is appropriate for what’s going on outside the past few nights since the katydids “woke up”.
It’s going to make for a nice rest of the summer. I step outside several times each night just to listen.
