Justice Department covers up possible spy ring scandal in Democratic congressional offices

**SNIP**

I sat flabbergasted in the courtroom in Washington as the plea agreement was entered.

I spent the last year interviewing hundreds of people and chasing leads for my upcoming book –titled “Spies in Congress” – about the alleged spy ring believed led by Awan that may have operated in the offices of more than 40 Democratic members of Congress.

If not for my extensive research on this case, I might have assumed the government just couldn’t find enough evidence to make a solid case against Awan on more serious charges than bank fraud.

When I asked Justice Department prosecutor J.P. Cooney why the government made this odd plea deal he just smiled and waved me away as he told me to ask the Justice Department Office of Public Affairs. The office declined to answer my questions.

Awan, as a part of this plea agreement, also “will not be charged” for any other nonviolent crimes he may have committed in Washington prior to the agreement, according to this deal.

so crimes outside washington are fair game ?

The plea deal agreement even exonerates Awan by saying in part that “the Government agrees that the public allegations that your client (Imran Awan) stole U.S. House of Representatives (‘House’) equipment and engaged in unauthorized or illegal conduct involving House computer systems do not form the basis of any conduct relevant to the determination of the sentence in this case."

Doesn't seem like an exoneration, only that his conduct in specific things wont be used to determine sentence.

What kind of plea agreement is this ? What do the feds get ? a crummy "scooter libby" conviction ? Way more going on here than meets the eye.

Awan should be spending the rest of his natural and naturally short life in Guantanamo being deprived of sleep and waterboarded. His life should be only as valuable as the information he can provide. But that information apparently incriminates the wrong people.

Deep State strikes again.

What a giant crock of shiite is Sessions, and the Q followers. Idiots, trusting an idiot. A parade of idiots. Idiocy on parade.

In the DOJ, the swamp is winning. Everywhere else, it’s Trump. It’s that simple.

Awan and family skated. Because they have tons of blackmail info on dems. And the doj protects dems. Because it is still swamp. It’s what it does. The doj is anti-Trump, and rogue. Led by a buffoon, with Deputy Weasel running the show, sidekick smarmy wray. The untouchables, swamp edition. Screwing Trump since 2016. Thumbing their noses, having dinner. Fireproof...they believe.

And meanwhile, loony dungeons and dragons Q idiots roll a 20 and say, “We have the magic server! Trust Sessions! Trust the plan! We fight so well!” While doing nothing but spreading doubt.

The world has gone mad.

The state’s attorney (or whatever they call it in D.C.) is Wasserman-Schultz BROTHER! This stinks worse than what they’re doing to the president! Doj says we interviewed 40 witnesses. Guess who they might be? Couldn’t be the 40 House Members who employed Awan, by any chance, could it? This scumbag did all the hacking of every single thing those Members plus the DNC had, that the House intelligence committee is now saying the Alphabet agencies have proved that Russia did. How stupid do they think we are???
I’ve wanted Trump to wait until after the midterms to fire Sessions, Wray, and Rosenstein, but I’ve changed my mind. Unless this is a huge trap to get him to do just that, so they can try to impeach him, he needs to fire them YESTERDAY.

Anyone that would even entertain the thought that Sessions is anything but a Deep-State Traitor, is unworthy of respect.

It is easy to be a gadfly when you are 1 of 100.

He always got too much credit - as does Rand Paul, and Ted Cruz.

How much conservative agenda have any of them really advance?

Why did none of them speak truths about the Manchurian President - as Harry Reid spoke lies about Mitt Romney - from the Senate floor, where he could speak with literal impunity?

No one’s interested in democrat party criminality. But if you’re a republican jay walker, you could end up in prison.

A Natural Born Citizen of the United States of America living in New York State who puts eight Bullets in a Rifle Magazine would be charged with a Felony.

The Government would make sure that same Citizen is prosecuted to the full extent of the Law.

Yep, priorities...

The real crime is espionage. This guy is lower rung; they want his testimony against the big fish. For espionage.

Yesterday the Tampa Bay Times e-mailed “Morning Update” briefly mentioned this story and (cough, cough) claimed it was a “conspiracy theory.” (I’m pretty sure it’s the only time “The Times” has mentioned the story at all.)
