I never heard of the Wideawakes in 2008 and I was very active politically and especially on social media.

John McCain was not a very good candidate and pretty much surrendered with the defending of Obama and the suspending of his campaign . . . both mistake from which he never recovered even with the help of Sarah Palin.

I don’t think so. These people are tired of being told what to think , tired of being called traitor , bigot , Uncle Tom . Most of them say they are now doing their own research . I hope the IRS doesn’t go after them like the Tea Party . The founder is going to be on Laura Ingraham tonight .

You’re sarcasm is too close to the truth.

“In yesterday’s vote a Federal Judge ruled that there was no way an overwhelmingly democratic registered voter precinct could elect a republican candidate”...

Actually the Puma’s were Hillary’s people and the Wideawakes were Giuliani or Bust. But Obama got elected.

right.

I’m looking for a great segment I watched on Varney and Co. this morning where they discussed #walkaway.

It was really excellent. I’ll post if I can find.

First things first.

I hope this movement grows exponentially. Earlier today I read a few testimonials and they are awesome. Folks standing up for truth in the face of massive backlash from friends and family.

That being said, I do worry that if they all become Republicans/Conservatives virtually overnight, over time they may change the make up of the Republican party. A new Republican party that reflects more Libertarian positions particularly on Social issues. I know that would be a long way away, but nonetheless a concern.

In the meantime, it’s fun to watch the Democrat party implode.

What is so cleaver about this campaign is how it leverages the Left’s Outrage and attack dogs against themselves and in support of #WalkAway.

A bunch of Lefties post the links and call on their rabid followers to spread the word and attack those “Walking away” which only justifies the movement and gains more support.

I haven’t had the chance to watch any of the testimonials, just read them and hadn’t seen those comments yet, “ You don’t have to vote republican, , just don’t vote .”

IMHO, this is a very good first step.

The next step?

Forcing the Democrat party and MSM to acknowledge this extremely diverse group of former supporters that love this country and only wish to be treated with respect as free thinking individuals. This would be a major accomplishment.

The last number I saw on FB was that they had 45k members that “Walked Away”. If this grows to 100 or 200k people the Left/MSM/Rats will have to take notice. I’m sure there are studies on this, but my gut says that for every one person that is willing to proactively post their testimonial there are ten to twenty more that agree. At 100k there could be a million or two that are done and have walked away from the Democrat party. That number is a game changer.

And just today the DNC head idiot say’s that this 29yo Democrat Socialist that won her primary is the new face of the Democrat party.

I love it !!!!

There is a major realignment in American politics that is reshaping the political landscape

It's a war between two totally different concepts of government

One is a government of and for the self styled “elite” members of society maintained in perpetual political power by the electoral support of a permanent underclass totally dependent upon the elites for their livelihood. The livelihood of the underclass is maintained and funded by the wealth seized and redistributed from the productive members of society

The elites may be either Democrat or Republican as they both enjoy their stations at the top of the feeding chain and are more interested in their personal wealth and power than they are in running the US in the interests of the people

The second is the more traditional American ideals where hard work and playing by the rules buys even the most average American a good life and the ability to achieve the American Dream

The Democrat Party is the home of the elite vision of America and the hard working middle class Democrats are finally waking up to realize that the a Democrat Party of elites is their enemy because they are the hard working wage slaves who must support the Democrat free loading underclass

Laura Ingraham had him on her show Tuesday night. He came across as very sincere and said that #walkaway had received thousands of followers and many testimonials from others who have abandoned the Dems.

I don’t know; a LOT of Dems voted for Trump for him to win the upper Midwest and PA. It is harder for any “normal” to support Dems; whereas before they just chased out pro-lifers and white men, now they are forcing even more radical positions (regarding illegal aliens and sodomites) on people - and the former in particular cost a lot of money. Most Americans can easily see how immigration in general has made this country suck; it can’t be concealed anymore. Blacks in particular are watching money and efforts being directed towards the invaders that could be used for Americans.
