I liken it to a 1950s NFL coach (outside of the great Joe Stydahar) finding himself facing a 1980s “West Coast” offense, thinking they can’t possibly win the game with all these crazy passes all over the field.

indeed. i figured out long ago that Trump’s “gaffs” were deliberate and calculated to throw gasoline onto the leftist media fire ... especially when the embers appeared to be temporarily dying out ...

a very apt analogy ... and applies directly to Hillary’s failed campaign, rooted in the 20th century with billions being spent on expensive, useless TV ads, while rejecting embedded facebook specialists who were already busily teaching Brad Parscale how to generate hundreds of thousands of individualized facebook ads per hour, ads that targeted individual cities, counties, neighborhoods and even individual voters ...
