At last someone who speaks the truth about what happened. Crowley is a casualty of tribal politics. Minorities want someone of their own tribe to represent them. The same thing happened to Stephen Solarz in 1992.

Liberal white Dem congressmen in urban areas will increasingly find themselves in trouble as the demographics of their districts change. And so will black politicians as their districts change to more Hispanic. Maxine Waters district is two-thirds hispanic, although most can’t vote legally.

Thank you Daniel for publishing what I’ve been saying since the day after the ‘Giant Killer’ election of the girl from the Bronx. Her story is phony...just like every other story the democrats tell. She won because she’s hispanic. Plain and simple. If Crowley’s name was Rodriguez he’d have swatted her aside like a fly at a summer picnic.

She was born in the Bronx. Her parents lived in Parkchester, which is like Trump Towers compared to the south Bronx. Originally a middle class housing project that eventually converted into condos. And rather pricey ones at that since it became a historical landmark because it’s prewar art deco architecture. It’s clear she grew up with more “privilege” than most Whites, just like 0bama’s friends Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dhorn. Who’s kidding who?

Tribalism. I’ve seen some of it growing up in Rockland county, 30 miles NW of NYC. Between “native vorn” Blacks and those from the Caribbean. Puerto Ricans and Maxicans, Salvadorians, etc. And among the different sects within the Orthodox Jewish areas of Monsey and New Square. Oftentimes the animosity is even worse than across ethnic/racial lines.
