Are the United States and North Korea headed for the ultimate of summer blockbusters: another nuclear showdown?
At least for the moment, all sign point to a solid yes.
And the American people need to take notice. Lost in the headlines over a fiery battle over immigration, a looming Supreme Court pick and Fourth of July cookout plans, a slow crisis is brewing on the Korean Peninsula once again.
In what can only be described as a bombshell report, NBC News broke details of a shocking new U.S. intelligence assessment on North Korea’s nuclear program. According to multiple intelligence sources familiar with the work, Pyongyang has increasing its production of fuel for nuclear warheads at what could be several “secret sites” over several months. And worst of all, it appears that Chairman Kim Jong Un is trying to hide these facilities, all the while claiming he wishes to denuclearize his nation, a promise the young dictator made to President Trump at the Singapore summit last month....

I just think that the NorKs think Trump was giving them a very good first offer, when it really was his final offer right up front, so they are testing to see if he will improve upon what was offered.
They will either take it or it will be business as usual.
This was always a risk but Trump had to make the effort to try the diplomatic route, even if it meant the deal failed. He has extended his hand to Kim and tried to resolve things peacefully. So...if Kim is cheating Trump is now fully justified if he is forced to neutralize North Korea’s nuclear capabilities.
Had Trump not met with Kim, and was forced to take military action against the Hermit Kingdom, the critics would have assailed him for not giving diplomacy a chance. By meeting with Kim, Trump took that argument away from them.
The Fat NK dictator knows it too.
This story was pushed the day before and a fellow creeper showed it to be a fake plant by one of our own alphabet spy agencies.

A sure sign of a fake is the use of escape clauses like putting a question mark in the title. Meaning, what was just said could be total B.S.
No “showdown”, this isn’t the Obama Regime. Merely a moment when President Trump gently reminds Kim of why the whole engagement had been initiated.
A reminder, like President Trump has a BIGGER button to launch, and it works.
That should have all the doves in Washington defecting fishworms.
If it’s true, bad news for Kim.
If it’s not true, good news for Kim and shame on whoever leaked this fraud...
Their meeting was three weeks ago. Usually takes a bit more time than that to get everything settled.
