my husband works on the military bases (in intel)...he is ex military. He says he is shocked to hear a lot of the younger guys (even age 30- young 40’s) solidly democrat in their thinking. Against Trump and for things that in the past, military guys would never support. He was really disheartened listening to the conversation.

Have no fear. I have a step son in the Army since 2009 and two son in the USMC. There is not a chance that the grunts are going against their CiC so long as he goes with the Constitution of the Republic.
Yikes, that’s not good. Are you able to say if his experience covers all branches? My son, though medically retired, is in touch with several currently serving in the army. He says it is just beginning to show signs of coming back. Time. Leadership. The systematic destruction of PC culture.
