That’s what’s so ridiculous about this whole thing...all Sarah wanted to do was eat with her family, and the restaurant decided to turn it into a political stand.
How’s business, Stephanie?
Oh, what’s that, your income is zero? That’s a shame!

I predict she’ll be too cowardly to reopen, due to fear of vandalism or protests. It’s not as if a small restaurant can afford a security guard.

Do tell me more. I am surprised. Usually my background checks are pretty darned accurate.

It was a combination of a jilted woman, a very biased Title IX hearing, and a pet theory that alleges that "regret equals rape".

A bit more on the whole incident

I was surprised given that I had a similar impression of them as you did.

I've understood them to be a very traditional university that expected much from their students and staff - morally as well as academically.

I'd hope that I'm wrong and it doesn't reflect a leftward political trend elsewhere.

That sounds like the wrongdoer got her come-uppance.

When a university gets sued, the suit survives a summary judgment motion, and they have to pay out a settlement, believe me, it gets their attention.

Hopefully W&L has learned from this encounter with doctrinaire feminism that these idiots are not to be trusted any further than you can kick them up a chimney.

The fact that she's still there militates contra, however.

There’s a kind of ironic joke in your posting....The owner of the RED HEN shooing away a person named SANDERS....

Some “finger lickin’ good” politics there....

Somebody better than me(maybe Laz) can perhaps crystallize this irony into a funny political joke or meme.
