Meghan McCain said on Friday that she is “never going to forgive” President Trump for his attacks on her father, Senator John McCain.
“The View” co-host made the comments during an interview in Austin, Texas at the Lyndon B. Johnson presidential library. She was there to accept the LBJ Liberty and Justice for All Award on behalf of Sen. McCain, according to The Hill.

That’s not the question or answer..... Will she ever forgive her father for being a phony “hero,’ an adulterer, a corrupt politician, and a traitor to his country? She might, I won’t.

In his condition now, he is probably not going to any church, and maybe someone comes to see him from there! At this point McCain might want to consider forgiveness, as an option.

Really fits doesn’t it! LBJ was an a$$hole just like her father. The only difference is that LBJ was more effective at f*cking the country than your father was toots!

Her position is understandable.
Not everything is political.
We know people who served with McCain in the military who knew him before he was captured by the North Vietnamese. They told us he was a complete jerk in the military just as he has been in civilian life.
But he was in harms way serving our country; he was shot down while on a mission and was captured. So as you say that is a gimme regardless of his treacherous actions after he was “broken”. John McCain has been tested and that is meaningful in someway. Despite failing just about every test of character that ever came his way... he somehow still managed to get elected to the United States Senate. That is meaningful in someway as well. Unfortunately I think that means only that our system is somehow broken.
He will likely be buried in Arlington with full military honors. The media and politicians will fawn all over him and proclaim that he was a great man. So he will be well compensated in that way for his service to our country. Who among us know if he will be judged as charitably by his maker?
The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree....she will probably be as stupid and evil as her dad.
