If this judge goes through, for at least the rest of our lives, it’s a right wing court.

Funny how a Constitutional jurist is considered right wing.

I’ve thought about the terminology.

“Originalist” might be the best description for the judges on Trump’s list. I think “conservative” is also acceptable, because the conservative approach to jurisprudence is to follow the original intent of the Constitution (or any law, for that matter).

Of course, the liberals are going to see things through their own biases, so they assume that everyone is going to act just like the liberals would, i.e., make judicial rulings simply to advance their political goals, rather than as an impartial umpire.

It’s like in “The Lord of the Rings.” Sauron could not imagine that the good guys would try to destroy the ring, rather than do what he would do — use it for selfish purposes.
