CNN’s Jim Acosta shouted a question at President Trump Friday about his treatment of the press, asking if he would “stop calling the press the enemy of the people.”
While at an event marking six months of the GOP tax law, Trump spoke about Thursday’s shooting at a newsroom, saying the incident “shocked the conscience of our nation.”
“This attack shocked the conscience of our nation and filled our hearts with grief,” Trump said. “Journalists, like all Americans, should be free from the fear of being violently attacked while doing their job.”
He went on to say his administration “will not rest until we have done everything in our power to reduce violent crime and to protect innocent life.”
Cue Jim Acosta, who asked the president at least three times whether he’d stop criticizing the press so much.

It is way past time for this administration to reign in the outrageous behavior of White House press corps. Every single day these people behave atrociously. It’s an absolute insult to the American people, each and every one of us.
Announce it will not be tolerated any longer then start pulling credentials. I’m sick and tired of being disrespected by leftist scumbags every single day.
How about you and your ilk stop being the enemy of the people.
“So Jim, are you suggesting that when you call me an enemy and all those other names, that you are advocating and expecting violence against me?”

Why? Outbursts such as his are probably worth a point or two at election time.
I think President Trumps knows that we have his back. Look at his rallies they are packed with no end in sight to his supporters wanting to see and hear him.
I have often thought why must we taxpayers provide the media with a place to do their job when they do it so poorly? They are warm in the winter, cool in the summer with comfortable seats to sit on and access to anything they need.
There was a time when they actually served the people by providing vital information but that is not the case any longer. Now they do a disservice and they should be made to wait at the gate for copies of the president’s agenda.
All the press briefings are now are gotcha questions and grandstanding. That plus the fact that 99% of these clowns have tiny numbers of people watching them and yet they are still treated as if they are something special. Time to take them down a peg or two.

The “press” annoy me and I see no reason the make their careers by giving them the time of day. It is a special privilege to be invited into the White House each day and they have abused that privilege.
I do think so. Acosta serves as a constant reminder of what schlemiels the press are.

The American media reinforces daily President Trump’s claim that they are purveyors of fake news. Their constant negativity occurs in a fashion that all can understand, and thus, in their own stupid way, they buttress the Trump presidency.
Isn’t that called smegma?

Another bucket list item checked off! For a moment this afternoon, I had Jim Acosta just a few feet behind me in the East Room yelling at the President of the United States. It doesn’t get any better than that.
Remember when this approach worked? W Bush, anyone?
Go ahead, Acosta , keep spreading your hate. I will rejoice the day you apologize and beg for forgiveness.
