I'm far less concerned about them being Catholic and Jewish and more concerned about having a strict constructionist in the spirit of Antonin Scalia sitting on the court than anything else.
The history of USSC Court Appointees has shown that women on the court are not strict constructionists, thus my statement above.

Scalia had been Catholic, but Gorsuch is neither. Sotomayor is only formerly Catholic.
