With the GOP its an attempt at a return to sanity. With the Democrats its to become further insane.
It doesn't matter, every loss the Democrats suffer pushes them further to the left. The few wins the Democrats have managed to scrape together have been with far left-wing "progressive" Democrats (read that Socialists/Communists) who want to take over the party.
The Democrats are completely FUBAR'ed this coming November. Somehow though, we just KNOW the establishment Republicans will find a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. They always do.
