America is always at a disadvantage in any crisis that arises or is slow to anger. America is in the midst of a simmering conflict that will have to play itself out. I am only one and I’m growing older by the day. When the running retreat begins if there is a running retreat I will stay behind to cover the retreat. If you are my age you learn the battle is for the young. I raised my young and they are well educated and Conservative. Prayers your young are educated and Conservative as well. Little or nothing I say makes any difference with those that hate America and America’s Citizens. I will remain active politically but I will mostly remain stealth. Keeps the enemy guessing
I apologize for most of my previous interactions - as my wife would say, it looks like most FReepers are a "passionate" bunch and it causes a lot of fur to fly - I think we suffer the same concerns but have different areas of angst and different views on how to fix it...causes hard feelings but also keeps life interesting....
Been on "vacation" for a few weeks and have a few days left to get home - getting tired and "edgy" as I am also getting "up there" and my lowered energy levels are making me even more snappish than usual.
You are right - the battle will have to be taken up by the young and that's probably got most of us worried because so many have been brainwashed - my own are conservative and not shy about it but too many align with the Left these days.
Maybe we are being relegated to becoming the Rear Guard as we get older ... here's hoping we have a worthy army to defend.
