That's good he complimented her. GOP will lose by attacking Ocavio-Cortez or using leftist Alinsky tactics. Both Dems and Repubs simply cannot afford to continue on the trajectory of making elections about Demographic identity politics. We need robust, intellectual debate.
We need to focus on the weaknesses of Cortez' IDEAS especially as it pertains to the economy, to abortion, to our failing public education system. We need to remind people how and why socialism has been tried and failed in so many countries (particularly in Latin America, where people are fleeing!)...
And I wish we had scientists brave enough to challenge established dogma on climate change...and why free-market principles and energy innovation should triumph over environmentalist hysteria.
Yes, congratulate her on her win, then note what the Democrats have become: Ocasio-Cortez, Nixon, Waters, Pelois... and so many more. Can’t many people running to join them, maybe run from them.
We should do the same. We want more like her representing the Dems, being open and honest about their Socialism.
