The events kicked off very early this AM, from the light around 4:30 AM

There are two types of uniforms visible on the officers participating: one are the dark blue or black Dept. of Homeland Security uniforms that clearly say Federal Police on them, and the others are the guys in camo.

I wonder if that is federal property alongside the building? Cause if it is, then anyone can camp on federal property anywhere for free due to "free speech." There are some great federal campgrounds out there across the country....now free of charge!

Some Core Beliefs

• The USA has no right to borders.
• Because of our past sins we are morally obligated to allow in anyone from the global South that wants to come here.
• People opposing this are racists.
• White people can't understand the needs of La Raza.
• ICE needs to be abolished.

  And here are some interesting other points:

• It's illegal for ICE to operate in Oregon, because it's a sanctuary state.
• It's illegal for ICE to operate in Portland, because it's a sanctuary city.
• The Portland Police are not helping the Feds clear access to the Federal facility, which is in a leased building.
• The building owner is trying to see if they can break the lease.

  It is a understatement to say that it is *just* the protesters doing this. The protesters are in effect supported by the local government, the liberal mayor runs the police, and is refusing to use them to restore order.

  The first American Civil War involved the nullification crisis, where South Carolina refused to enforce Federal tariffs. At the same time many Norther political entities refused to enforce runaway slave laws.

  We have pretty much reached that level, at least here in Portland.

  Portland was not that liberal a city 20 years ago. For almost the entire period from 1887 until 2009 Oregon had either one, or two, Republican US Senators.

  Today we have the ultra-liberal Jewish Senator Ron Wyden (since 1996) and the slightly-less ultra liberal Senator Jeff Merkley since 2009. It seems unlikely that Oregon will ever send another Republican to the US Senate.

  This formulation is being repeated in state after state, city after city.

  A restoration without some sort of cleansing for places like Portland (and, therefore Oregon, the state it dominates) is hard to imagine.

No, it's not Federal property, it's either public or unused (old railroad right-of-way) private property within the city limits of Portland.

If it was Federal property than the Federal Police could (and presumably would) evict people from it.

The ability of people to camp on city property in Portland is pretty much a new unchallenged right. Everywhere you look in the city there are homeless encampments in spots like this. Freeway triangles and greenery areas around them are particularly popular. My friends and I call these "Obama Towns".

So the tent-city on public (or private but unused) property is "normal" for Dump Town these days.

I simply do not understand why protestors are allowed to do what they please? Where is our law enforcement at every level and many jurisdictions? Protestors are allowed to shut down streets, highways, even Interstates...allowed to block federal buildings, harass government officials.

Law enforcement needs to take action, when this is allowed it just escalates their behavior. Which is what is happening.

These riots really need to be nipped in the bud. Playing nice with leftists never works. Never. It only ratchets up what they consider to be “fair” treatment.

The dynamics of this are that the federal law enforcement guys appear to be on their own with no support from the Portland Police.

They are taking a limited action and Portland Police led by Chief Danielle Outlaw who came from the leftie city of Oakland, CA where she was deputy chief, get to look good with the Portlandia locals by not participating.

The rioters have been allowed to run wild in Portland for a couple years now, shutting down freeways, closing bridges, assaulting people passing by.

That's because there is a spectrum of lefist sedition which runs from mild to wild, and the city government is clearly on that spectrum, themselves.

The city police (who could actually end this) have been told to stand down by the mayor.

The Feds sent their own police only after the protesters had been allowed to block access to the facility for 8 days.
