I spent 20 years watching AFSCME confiscate my money every two weeks. I never voluntarily signed up to be in that union. I was forced to join if I wanted the job. They did nothing but make my work environment more dangerous by protecting scumbags from being fired. They took my money and gave it to politicians I despised. The leaders of these unions have nothing in common with the members. I would say that 7 out of 10 workers wanted out of the union when I was a member 9 years ago.
