Since when?! All of the newcomers are sucking the aquifer dry. We keep this up and we are looking at VERY expensive desalinization.

They did, too much building and take a look at the Everglades and what big sugar money, I don’t even pretend to understand this mess...

No, Florida has a serious issue with depleting their aquifers causing salt water intrusion near the coasts and increased sinkholes.

Everybody always thinks of the west coast and California when it comes to increased development, population and strained water supplies, but as this shows it effects many other places.
