This should be the end of public unions. The court seems to say that that government employees cannot be required to join, cannot be required to pay fee to cover costs of collective bargaining. That kind of puts unions out of business UNLESS they offer something worth paying for. It is now voluntary.

Good point. Unions can have their place, but they will have to make an affirmative positive case to employees, as to why they should join the union. They have to make the case, as to why employees should pay the union dues.
