One of my old bosses (former professor) was quite upset with my comments on the twitter poll (88% against her BTW).
I explicitly said she should be fired for poor judgement, citing her own quote that her business had survived 10 years because she kept politics out of it!
She had a perfect right to refuse service to Sarah. It is the role of society to administer the consequences of her actions. She broke societal bonds with her neighbors (read: is costing them $$$). So we shouldn’t condemn her actions, we should continue to encourage her peers to help her get her thinking right.
There is no double standard. What promotes the revolution is good. What opposes the revolution is bad. The issue is never the issue; the issue is always the revolution.

The cancer only spreads when conservatives refuse to get off their asses and take control of their communities. That control happens by attending local government meetings and volunteering to staff private organizations. That means not barbecuing every night and not remodeling the damn kitchen every weekend. You gotta set some time aside for securing your community against leftists and fascists.

VMI used to be conservative. Currently, compared to other academic institutions, it could be considered somewhat conservative, but it is heading left.
Even when I was there, VMI had its fair share of lefty academics. However, the administration and the corps were mostly right leaning. Now, the administration is infected with liberalism, up to and including the superintendent, who has stayed way past his shelf life.
3rd generation VMIer here, and my very generous donations have dwindled in direct relation to VMI’s lurching left.
Do Not Stop until this b***h is run right out of town. Preferably on a rail.
