I don’t know why you think he wasn’t involved in his sister’s stuff - he was. He just didn’t get any publicity over it.
Well that may be what I meant. Back then when she was going full blown Left after marrying Tom Hayden, you didn’t hear much about Pete or his politics. He was making a lot of movies at that time and getting some critical recognition for his film “The Hired Hand”, and so it did not seem he was as involved as Jane was. I grant you he has probably always been Liberal, but I was never sure just how Liberal he was compared to Jane.
I still like her early stuff before she went off the Rails, I guess around 1965 or 1966 she started really changing. Too bad.
