Well, Virginia still has some southern-ish sensibilities. This Yankee chick came down and inserted herself into the community. Southerners tend to be less in-your-face and brash. I have a feeling she embarrassed the hell out of them, and they’re thrilled to be rid of her.
I’m sure the Lex/PTB DEMANDED her resignation......
She didnt resign out of altruism......b/c she’s a nice person.
