“HD has been planning this move for a long time. Their move has nothing to do with Tariffs.”

Current Harley riders are dying off and Millennials are not buying them as they’re considered old man’s bike. Harley needs to come up with a product spectrum that appeals to young folks.

Bingo.

HD`s business model is geared (pun-pun) for baby boomers and big fat lumbering bikes over 600cc., a myopic joke.
They went bankrupt before and they will again.

Their Q1 for 2018 came out and WW sales are down over 7%
