If they live in the SF Bay area, I concur with many of their thoughts. They just haven’t been in small town America.
Take each word of this screed and print it in BIG letters on a 100’ wide x 60’ tall piece of concrete. Place on the southern border, with the words facing south. Leftover panels can be placed on our northern border.
BTW - I was just working with a guy - his grandparents came over from Lithuania. His family (and himself) have maintained their culture to a huge degree. My grandparents came over from Norway. They kept some of their culture - but not much.
He mentioned that the Lithunanians were in fear of getting wiped out by the Soviets and exterminated - so they have taken great care in passing down the old names and customs to their third and fourth generations. Makes sense.
We talked about national costumes, traditions, etc. About the only thing I could think of as “American” was cowboy dress, square dances and rodeos. But I wouldn’t call a cowgirl skirt a “national costume” like they have in most other countries.
While that might be too bad, I’d rather take living in America than living in Botswana and having a national costume.

Europe’s “best and brightest” came here in the 16 and 1700’s leaving a cadre of useless afterbirths masquerading as people to flesh out your citizenry. So sad that cemeteries all over the world contain the remains of Americans who gave up their lives and loves for these nasty, ungrateful pricks. And how many trillions of US taxpayer dollars, confiscated from Middle Class families, have been wasted on foreign aid to these America haters?
If President Trump really wants an easy win in 2020, he should cut off ALL foreign aid, send all the foreign anti-American students home, and get the US out of the UN and other “foreign entanglements” that our best president, George Washington, warned the country about in his farewell address. Too bad the nation did not heed that warning.

A country can be poor and have a rich culture. Some places in America, one must look to find culture, but it is there. America is not for everyone.
