As far as the diseases go,too much caffeine can be bad for the heart,cat hair can cause asthma,too much alcohol can destroy the liver,too much of anything,including water,can kill you.

Do we put booze in everything we consume? We do with sugar. Almost everything we consume has some sugar in it these days.
The health problems caused by it just continues to skyrocket as we put more and more of it into our food supply. If we didn’t have drugs to restrain diabetes 30 Million Americans would be dead from the disease, a disease that is almost certainly caused by sugar consumption.

Prediabetes: In 2015, 84.1 million Americans age 18 and older had prediabetes.
Deaths: Diabetes remains the 7th leading cause of death in the United States in 2015, with 79,535 death certificates listing it as the underlying cause of death, and a total of 252,806 death certificates listing diabetes as an underlying or contributing cause of death.
