No, the WSJ says that the models were way off (too pessimistic). Models predicted Greenland ice would melt raising sea levels 25 or so feet, which of course didn’t happen. Warming of any sort stopped around 2000, although CO2 levels continued to climb. Government policy should take all of this into account, and people shouldn’t have to be taxed in order to pay for CO2 reductions when there is no warming.
