Not a lot of foreign aid going to Mexico and what does go south is likely in-kind or products/services from American manufacturers.
About 6% of our annual oil imports come from Mexico; while we might be able to get that elsewhere it often takes time and a lot of money to change raw material sources at US refineries.
We should likely treat the verbage from this windbag politician as another example of what it is: campaign jibberish?
