Not likely as recoverable oil has been recovered. In some cases they can get another shot of production by refracking the well and thereby opening up some formation that didn’t get fracked properly before.

The fracking process is probably more than half the cost of drilling and completing a well. The wells are many times more expensive than the old vertical wells. Improvements in the technology has brought the costs down some but it is still very expensive.

Any earthquakes going on in Oklahoma? More oil wells per square mile than any state. I hope your economy is booming.
