The Massachusetts DMV is actually a pleasure these days——it used to be an absolute nightmare.

Same here in Connecticut and I believe they use the same system. It's been over a decade since I even set foot in a DMV office. Most transactions are handled online through a web portal. I think the only reason for going there is to have your picture taken and even that will soon be done online.
WA State DMV is excellent too, and this state is notorious for treating its citizens like vassals.
