One basic assumption of Progressives is that “People are the same all over the world”.

It is that people who come from third world sh*tholes are just liberal, western, democrats. All they need is some economic assistance, and they will be just like the advanced Western country populations.

Why? Because Marxism preaches that everything is based on economics, and there is *no* human nature.

But Western values are based in Christian ethics. The idea that every life is important, that people should be treated as you wish to the treated; the idea that you should not lie, cheat, and steal from other people, even if they speak a different language.

All of that is alien to Muslims.

The idea that people are different, that they are *not* all liberals underneath, destroys the basic assumptions of leftist thought.

That is why the girl hated to say it.
