He should have replied “Your sick question makes it seem as though you have experience with incest? Why would you ask such a disgusting thing? Are you mentally deranged?”

These would seem the proper questions to ask. There are others that might come to mind too,but the idea is to discourage this kind of idiocy so the person in question might go out & seek honest work.
