It is long past time for decent people to wake up and realize that when dealing with scumbags, civility is nothing but a self-imposed handicap.
It breaks my heart to see you casting pearls before swine. This can only cause you undeserved grief.
I also suffer grief at the damage these swine are doing, but have long-since quit putting my head on the block voluntarily.
You call for civility is, in a way, a credit to your commitment to doing the right thing. However, Satan rebelled against God himself, and he and his servants are immune to appeals to their better nature. Their response will be the same, whether to your letter or one like this:
Dear Heretic Filth:
Every justification for your position, taken individually and as a whole, is a lie. You will bark in Hell for all eternity for your service to Satan in his attempts to destroy our Church and our country. Pull your head out and start supporting our president.
