How many miles was this disabled child dragged thru the desert and subjected to gross disorientation by her mother? And there’s some sort of story in wanting to get the child clean and into a stable environment as quickly as possible for that child’s mental health? Talk about exploited children...
If a citizen mother did that, Child Protective Services would take her child in no time.
On top of that when the mother and girl are here they will almost certainly go on assistance. The United States does not owe them support.
Your question is reasonable. What treatment did this child receive before she got to the border? Did she try to enter the country via extra-legal methods? If so, shouldn’t every parent know that if you get arrested committing a crime in any country you will be separated from your children?
If the act of separating parents from children is a moral outrage, shouldn’t we shut down all the Department of Child Welfare offices across the country? They grab kids from their homes and lock them in cages every day of the year.
Do any of these people feigning outrage remember Elian Gonzales? What was their opinion on that?
I am not going to defend Lewandowski. But it seems to me he wasn’t mocking the 10 year old girl, he was mocking or accusing the CNN host for shedding crocodile tears.
