"There are really a lot of people in Moscow ... and they are all drinking," he said. "It's hot, and it's football." The Poles were in Moscow, that probably explains a lot.
After watching how crappy they played, they needed to drink heavily afterwards, I know I did.

Why don’t you pack up and move to Russia? It’s all you think about. Maybe you can land a job directing serving your man Putin.

Start whipping up Moscow Mules, instead.

that wouldn’t work at all, though the insane soccer fans pummeling every muslim in sight might be something worth seeing.

In the Soviet time, Moscow was an oppressive, dreary and uninteresting place.
How the times have changed and now everyone is having fun!

Seems to me the members of the UN should all donate a bunch of beer to Russia. Of course, that might be considered ‘collusion’.

Russian Beer is what you get after a Russian drinks a ton of Vodka
To: mac_truck
I’m sure there’s plenty of beer-like kvass left over from the Soviet days. I tried some at a small train station in Russia about 35 years ago. It was draft, tapped out of a small tank trailer. Only 35 kopeks. The first glass was pretty hard to get down, but the third was OK.
