I agree with your take. When I see both of them come on I think, ok some tough talk, but no followup or legal actions result from it....
Then, all of a sudden something else comes on to grab the headlines and we never hear about the “ grilling or followup “ again
They are politicians. Look at Cummings. He is a total con artist who is just another politician. Never in my life did I believe that men who shirked military duty (one by lying to an AF LTC and the other being AWOL from a duty station) would be Presidents. Until we get rid of lawyers as politicians we will have lying and acting.

You were right, unfortunately.
I never trusted Issa. It seemed that Issa would hurt himself diving to get in front of the nearest camera.
I once had great hope for Gowdy. He talked such a good game, and if he wants to, he can absolutely fillet someone he interviews. Sadly, Gowdy is all hat and no cattle.
