I watched Kirstjen Nielson’s press conference and am so frustrated by all the accusations leveled against the Trump administration of child abuse, being heartless, ripping families apart, comparing this to the Holocaust, etc. It’s horrible. I honestly don’t know how President Trump can take all this on top of all the other serious attempts to bring him down. He is trying to do everything right for this country, but all he gets in return is mud thrown at him from all sides. It seems sometimes like half of Americans don’t want to be Americans anymore; they want to be citizens of the world or something. I wouldn’t blame the President if he just said to heck with all this, resigned, packed up his bags, moved to one of his beautiful resorts and let Mike Pence take over from hereon in. It’s discouraging :-[
Whenever I get discouraged, I remind myself, "You think Trump has it bad? Imagine how the Democrats feel! They're losing everywhere!"
Trump isn't discouraged. He's winning. His supporters are winning. That's why the flak is coming from all directions. And yet, he stands resolute. President Trump thrives on chaos. We've never seen anything like it.
