Lord, we ask You to bless fathers this day with the desire to be the spiritual leaders of their households. We pray that they would rise up and be the godly compass for their families---showing them the ways of righteousness. May they provoke not their children, but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. And may they love their wives as Christ has loved the Church and has given Himself for it.

Amen and amen, dear Faith! Happy Father's Day to all!
