@realDonaldTrump
The IG Report totally destroys James Comey and all of his minions including the great lovers, Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, who started the disgraceful Witch Hunt against so many innocent people. It will go down as a dark and dangerous period in American History!

My supporters are the smartest, strongest, most hard working and most loyal that we have seen in our countries history. It is a beautiful thing to watch as we win elections and gather support from all over the country. As we get stronger, so does our country. Best numbers ever!

Oh, noes! He spelled countries wrong!
Thanks for posting. HOORAY President Donald J. Trump!!!
Leadership BUMP!
So in return for a good productive job I can be proud of doing I will overlook Trump's deplorable typos.
Great tweet which will really piss off the libs.
That we are... I sent President Trump a post the POTUS website and he responded with a VERY nice letter.
A glaring mistake. I caught it instantly. Oh, noes is right. : )
Not to mention what it does to the mouth breathers here who were dog cussing Horowitz.
The media medusa will come down hard on him, as they did when Obama said 57 states! Oh, wait.....

I think Scott Adams said this is a good thing for persuasion whether Trump is aware of the technique or not
1) When people focus on an error in the text they subconsciously accept the rest of the text as they pass it over to focus on the error - even if they would have disagreed with the rest without the error.
2) It will be repeated by anyone who wants to criticize Trump. They want to attack the spelling but end up letting a lot of people see the tweet who wouldn’t have otherwise (and many of those people will subsciously “accept” the rest of the tweet).
I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump knowingly uses this technique sometimes. I doubt that most of his mistakes like this are intentional though - just Trump tweeting the way us commoners do without an editor or focus group.
In spite of being an ignorant POS with graduate degrees I managed to understand what he means.
As ignorant as they think Trump is he has somehow managed to accomplish more and make more money than all of those detractors put together could ever do.

We remember covfefe for Trump and not the other way around. Some people have a gift for promotion and others just ride along.

3) It makes him seem more like one of us, because none of us spell everything correctly all the time either.
Or he fat thumbed it on his smart phone. He is a dynamo. While his critics are warm, safe and sleeping in their comfy beds he is up and on the job and being successful and kicking ass. I can see why he is a billionaire.
He communicates well.

...
You are on to it...and, as Q points out some misspellings have other useful definitions. That would be # 4)
Oh, noes! He spelled countries wrong!Like no one has ever had their spell check "correct" a word incorrectly while typing.
