Saw a segment on Fox News Friday night about this man.
It’s a very uplifting story about a young black man who began a lawn service when in college. He has enlisted hundreds of younger kids to join in mowing lawns for free for the elderly, et al. They earn different colors of T-shirts with logos of the activity for each level of the number of lawns they have mowed. Those that reach the 50 level receive a new lawnmower, donated by the dealers.
IMO, it helps to teach respect for those who need help and offers a pathway for the kids to earn money and perhaps become successful like Mr. Smith.
