According to the indictment, Holmes and Balwani encouraged doctors and patients to use the company’s blood testing services even though the defendants knew Theranos was not capable of consistently producing accurate and reliable results for certain blood tests, the department said in a statement.

Too many people with money wanted this wench to be legit. She wasn’t, just a cute faced fraud that dropped out of Stanford which apparently was enough of an resume. The only question now is how much time she will get. She was from Washington DC, that should have been enough of a warning.

Theranos also later hired the same lawyer who spearheaded the Gay Marriage initiative:

THAT is why so many disillusioned Theranos employees stayed quiet for so long:
If they opened their mouths one peep about the reality at Theranos they tended to get sued like crazy by the crazy Indian BF and this other lawyer.
