The report says, Comey, Baker, and other FBI witnesses told us that they believed the prosecutors were overly cautious about obtaining the laptops because they were intimidated by high-powered defense counsel like [Beth] Wilkinson.
The report also describes other FBI witnesses who made the same claim including agents Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, whose text messages in the report revealed their political bias against Donald Trump becoming president.
Some FBI witnesses told us, consistent with text message exchanges between [Peter] Strzok and [Lisa] Page, that the FBI was concerned that the line [Network Security Division] prosecutors were intimidated by the high-powered attorneys representing Clinton and her senior aides and, as a result, did not negotiate aggressively with them, the report states.
It continues, Strzok told us that Prosecutor 1, who handled most of the negotiations with counsel, is extraordinarily competent, but he believed more senior government officials should have been involved with deciding how hard [to] push counsel.'

Well at least nobody has died in the Clinton circle but fear tells me they knew it would be probable if the first approach was to investigate
They were all “with her” anyway.
They should do 3 am raids on thees high powered lawyers with guns drawn./s.
Are they suggesting they’re the victims and are paving the way for intimidation defense?
Won’t work if that’s the case.
If I was guilty and wanted to pretend to be a victim Comey would be that last person I would want speaking for me.
Comey will go down in history as the first FBI director who was a Yehtah.
scared of Beth? or NBC?

I’m talking about DOJ prosecutors, assuming the claim is accurate.

____
Incestuous little world they live in.
To clarify, It’s my opinion that many in the DOJ as well as the FBI, are rotten and it wouldn’t surprise me if they used, “Intimidation” as a defense against following protocol.
They were not just intimidated. they were sympathetic to Clinton. They had a preference for Clinton.
They find themselves in the position of having to come up with innocent explanations. Not a good place to be.
Then they shouldnt have been assigned
What a bunch of wusses
I dont know that word. What is yehtah?
Wouldn’t intimidation be cause for additional scrutiny and/or charges?
Is there a previous case, ever, where the FBI felt too intimidated to do its job?
Where the FBI allows itself to be intimidated, what then? If you can intimidate the FBI you get a pass on whatever crime was committed, is that how this works?
Comey was the FBI Director who claims he did not talk to the DoJ, so how would he know they were intimidated?
You dont need to ask a potential target to a criminal investigation for theinlaptops, you just serve them with a subpoena.
The DoJ knew Congress had subpoenaed the laptops, yet agreed to let them be destroyed and gave immunity to people who claimed they did nothing wrong?
This report should be ignored. In violation of law, the IG failed to make obvious and necessary criminal referrals. This report is a sham and a joke. We have lost oor country to two seperate and unequal justice systems. One for leftists and one for little guys. It turns my stomach but lets dont dillude ourselves into thinking it had any legitimacy what so ever.
