I’m stunned the German media hasn’t already labelled Seehofer the 2nd coming of Adolf Hitler and claimed he will start World War III. That’s usually what the establishment there does to anybody who challenges them.

Looks like the pendulum in Europe is starting to swing right.
In central & eastern Europe, that certainly seems to be true. The right is ascendant in Italy, Austria, Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovenia and, of course, certain German regions (Bavaria). However, looking west, we seen Spain and Ireland aggressively moving to the left. Go figure.
