Info from I-Pass was used in a divorce case in Illinois. Ex-wife’s lawyer used the I-Pass tracking to prove Husband was not where he said he was.

“Ex-wife’s lawyer”

Imagine if it were a murder case - say an innocent husband reports death and tells cops at the scene where he was, etc..

But, oops, made a mistake in the details and cops find out thanks to nazi-pass.

Now they can charge him with lying to the police. If they exhaust all other leads, they might even be able to use that “lie” to get a murder conviction.
