With a deficit as large as we have with China (and others), it's pretty easy to figure out which country stands to lose the most...it's the one currently taking full advantage of inequity.

Yeah, but China doesn't have to worry about voters whose costs go up and whose jobs go away. It doesn't have to worry about corporate donors whose stock prices tumble and profits evaporate when the economy goes into a downturn. Trump and Congress do.

Trade wars are like any other wars. There will be casualties, pain, and suffering. The winner will be the one who can take it better. Will that be us?

What China has to worry about is the new, rich business class. Don’t underestimate their ability to begin a coup of their own.
