That’s a strong case, broken chain of possession. She might not have left it there. It could have been pickpocketed and the drug inserted and then put back to get found.

Haven’t heard hides or tails about how much quantity is involved but or which agency referred the charges. Wonder if she had just over the serious crime quantity? 1oz? and eight ball? I’m pretty sure you can’t fit kilos in a wallet.

Then again, who found the wallet? Some stranger who brought it to the police or one of the air crew. If I found it while on duty in an aircrew I would just contact her if possible, or in my younger days I would have just kept the cocaine and dropped the wallet in the post box.

If I found that wallet my first instinct would be to take the coke and then turn it in.

then I realize I am a grown adult who has no use for coke, and my behavior is an automatic one left over from when I was a youngster.

From a prepper standpoint, supposedly coke has medicinal properties useful after the apocalypse. I think it contracts tiny blood vessels to reduce bleeding when you’re trying to stitch up a wound.

Sure officer, that’s what it’s for, yeah.

A couple of small packets in the wallet. Have not heard whether or not her prints were on the packets. Which is why I’d really like to read that indictment.
